Until recently access to modern Tibetan novels and short stories for non-Tibetan readers has been rare and the present work is intended to fill this gap. The book provides a fascinating glimpse of modern Tibetan Literary art. Four stories included in the book focuses on women's lives in contemporary Tibet.
