The body of truth or reality refers to to the noncomposite, nondual, primordially pure essentail nature of the awakened mind itself. It is beyond all defilements, afflictions,, or conceptual limitations, and is completely clear and unimpeded in its manifstataion. The first phase in the bardo is considered a prime opportunity to achieve liberation through direct recognition of the dharmakaya.
