One of the eight main bodhisattvas. The bodhisattva manifesting the perfection of wisdom and thus a frequent figure in the prajnaparamita sutras of the mahayana tradition. He is shown wearing sambhogakaya ornaments and holding a flaming sword in his right hand and a text in his left.
