Sur is used by Buddhists as a pure and sacred offering to the sense of smell. It is said to be able to not only please the Buddhas and dieties, but also to satiate the ordinary beings from the six realms and pacify demons and obstacle makers.
This sur is cleanly and carefully prepared according to ancient Tibetan tradition. It’s ingredients include the three white things, (yoghurt, milk and butter) the three sweet things, (molasses, honey and sugar). The six medicinal spices: barley, flour, and special, sacred substances, which are precisely combined in order to make this supreme offering.
