Buddhist nuns in Bhutan, high up in the Himalayas, far away from Western realities and ideals. A really different and thought-provoking life. "It has been such a privilege to look into a new world. The women embraced me with curiosity and let me interview them, take pictures and be part of their everyday-life. They opened my heart to their life and practice, and I hope the book reflects the peace, harmony and joy I have met in this simple, meaningful way of life."
Women of Buddha - Nuns in Bhutan is a documentary book, photo exhibitions, talks, and articles in support of nun's education in Bhutan.
