Description

This book is an English translation of V. Fatone's Spanish original on the Philosophy of Nagarjuna- a famous Buddhist philosopher who lived in the second century A.D. Until Fatone wrote this book, it was thought that Nagarjuna was a nihilist. So firm has been the tradition that certain eminent scholars still use this term to designate his School. But the present author has tried to prove that Nagarjuna is not a nihilist. Although the fundamental idea of Nagarjuna's system is that nothing exists, still he believes in one single substance which is the world subspecie 'ternitatis.
Translated into lucid English, the book presents a faithful interpretation of Nagarjuna's Philosophy.

Philosophy of Nagarjuna, Vicente Fatone, Motilal Banarsidass, Hardcover, 173 pages, $10.00
