One-day vows.
Literally, "renewal and purification." The practice of confession transgression of one's vows and renewing them by chanting a liturgy. It is commonly performed by monastics in assembly on a monthly basis. Additionally it is necessary to recite sojong vows prior to performing certain rituals that require purity of ethical discipline.
