In Buddha's first teaching after his enlightenment, the Buddha presented the world with his answer. It consisted of four expositions or Noble Truths:
The truth of suffering.
The truth of the origin of suffering.
The truth of the cessation of suffering.
The path that leads to the cessation of suffering.
On August 9, 2005, the auspicious day of Chokhor Duchen, when the Buddha first taught the Four Noble Truths (according to the General Tibetan Calender), Khenpo Ugyen presented The Four Noble Turths as his first teaching at KTD.
