Description
"Cleansing of the Gods," is a ceremony in which fragrant juniper and consecrated substances are burned producing smoke that is believed to purify the environment and its inhabitants of the pollution caused by immorality and other forms of contamination. This helps the performer purify his or her obscurations and also benefits all who are touched by the smoke.
