I finally saw "Dalai Lama Renaissance," a documentary by Kyashyar Darvich, narrated by Harrison Ford. Have you seen it? I cannot recommend it enough, it is not just another film about HHDL, it is original and enlightening, to quote one critic - it is a tour de force. No wonder it won a dozen awards at 30+ film festivals. Watching it was the next best thing to being at this gathering in Dharamsala of 40 distinguished writers, scientists, artists, quantum physicists (Amit Goswani from "What the Bleep do We Know" is one), spiritual teachers, etc.
But what I found most noteworthy is to hear a summary HH makes towards the end of the event that are definitely the words of a Bodhisattva not just a "simple monk."
