Professor Melissa Gish arrived at Glenville State College in 2010 by way of New Mexico State University, Carlsbad, and South Central College in Minnesota, where she taught composition, creative writing, film history, Western humanities, and technical writing. At GSC, she teaches first-year composition and special topics courses. She is the author of more than 100 juvenile educational books on such topics as biography, folklore, science, natural history, and wildlife.
