Rinpoche begins these teachings with instructions on preparing for death by practicing dharma during the bardo of this life. He goes on to provide profound instruction on the approach of death, spiritual care for those who are dying, the characteristics of dissolution, practice during dissolution, practice at the time of death, and Powa practice. he gives instructions on the short Shitro practice and teaches extensively about the intervals or bardos of Dhrmata and Becoming. In the public talk that precedes these teachings, Rinpoche teaches on bodhicitta, the four immeasurables, and karma. Several talks end with extensive question and answer sessions.
