Description

This emanation of the Buddha of Compassion is mainly a special meditational deity in the Kagyu Lineage. In his right hand he holds a rosary of nine flowers symbolising the nine paths in Buddhist practice. His left hand holds the treasury vase bestowing material security and long life. His consort (wisdom dakini) holds the blue Utpala flower, symbol of her knowledge of the three times (past, present and future) in her right hand and in her left the treasure vase. It is highly secretive practice which requires an initiation and instructions into the meditation practice.
