Description   This third edition continues to provide students with and elementary manual totally based on Buddhist Sanskrit texts.  Illustrations of Sanskrit grammar points are drawn from Buddhist sources, and exercises are drawn from texts like Asta-sahaskrika Prajnaparamita, Pancavimsatisahasrika Prajnaparamita, etc.  The thirteen lessons are each appended with footnotes providing references to available corresponding passages across different canonical records.  A Sanskrit text of Vajraccedika, based on L. Vaidya's Devanagari edition as well as E. Conse's romanized edition, is translated at the end of the volume.  This present edition has further corrected several of the typos and other lapses in previous editions.
