The Heartdrop of Si Gyal That Is All-Pervasive and Clears Away Afflictive Emotions and Illness, Raven Cypress Wood, Self-published, Spiral-bound paperback (8.5" x 11"), 29 pages, $21.00

Raven Cypress Wood is an author, translator, mentor, and longtime student of the Yungdrung Bön religious tradition. For more than a two decades, she has dedicated herself to making the teachings of Yungdrung Bön accessible to English-speaking readers through translation, writing, and education. Drawing on years of study with accomplished and knowledgeable masters, she strives to present these profound, ancient teachings with both authenticity and clarity. Her translations are grounded in extensive research into the historical, cultural, and religious contexts of the source materials. Rather than adapting traditional teachings to modern spiritual trends or Westernized ideas, she is committed to presenting them accurately within their own context so that readers can engage directly with the authentic Yungdrung Bön tradition. In this way, the teachings and prayers are not adapted for the spiritual seeker, but it is the spiritual seeker that adapts according to the wisdom teachings in order to gain a deeper and more experiential connection with the profound truths that they contain. Through her books, videos, mentoring, community support, as well as her website, Nine Ways, she aims to make this ancient wisdom and guidance more accessible to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the spiritual path while preserving the depth and authenticity of the tradition.
