Jeffrey Berman is a Professor of Business Administration at Salem State University and at University of Maryland University College. He is a psychologist with a background in applications of psychology to business and industry. He became interested in the culture of Tibet while visiting the Newark Museum and its extensive collections of Himalayan art and artifacts. Professor Berman has utilized his experience as a scholar to compile a readable survey of Tibetan art and artifacts. He lives and works in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
